Crystal and John only dreamt of taking an active horse farm and transforming it into a rustic chic affair for their wedding day. With the help of an amazing team, that dream became a true (and very beautiful) reality! Due to health issues, Crystal’s grandmother was unfortunately unable to attend the celebration, so to ensure she was there, Crystal sewed a swatch of her beautiful cobalt nightgown into the back of her wedding dress and couldn’t have asked for a more meaningful “something blue!”
We love the welcoming environment created by C and D events with long family style kings tables for dinner, lounge furniture arrangements with hay bales and pops of color in the oversized blue and tangerine pillows and the homemade jelly favors that were sent home with each guest.
Crystal shed some light on a few of the couple’s favorite moments: “During the stress of getting ready all I remember is looking out the window of the home and seeing my husband and all of his friends running around trying to make everything perfect. (even though our planners had everything under control!) I loved when Uncle Leonard jumped on stage and sang a special tune to “TRUE BLOOD,”our favorite show of all time. Of course we can’t forget all the moonshine that was “secretly” consumed all night long: ).”
ADVICE FROM THE BRIDE
“Always ask family members to be a part of your day, even if all they do is drive a tractor. They feel appreciated and fun memories are made!”
