Liz and Josh tied the knot in beautiful Charleston, SC this past June. Boone Hall Plantation, an extremely popular venue for brides and grooms looking to wed in the Charleston area, was the perfect host for this sweet couple to entertain and celebrate with all of their friends and family.
After the ceremony at the historical French Huguenot Church, guests were transported over to the Cotton Dock in old Charleston trollies and greeted by traditional Gullah singers. “Our biggest priority was the guest experience, which is why we focused on food, drinks and entertainment,” says Liz.
The night of the wedding was a full moon, bringing in high tide onto the dock and around the bar, but don’t worry – it didn’t stop this dancing crowd from kicking off their shoes and turning up the party! Accompanied by The Voltage Brothers, the ultimate Carolina Beach Music band, it was truly a coastal affair.
HCW: What was one of the most special moments from the day?
Bride: “Ever since I was a little girl, I had always dreamt of having a trumpet fanfare when I walked down the aisle, and I did! It was a moment I will always remember.”
